The GHA is excited to provide a registry in which our members are instrumental in shaping our future. The Gypsy Horse is a relatively new breed in the United States, and is also known as the Gypsy Cob, Gypsy Vanner, Romany Cob, or Tinker Horse. The GHA is a registry that welcomes all lovers of this amazing breed, and recognizes all breed names currently in use. Join the GHA and take part in preserving, protecting, and promoting the traditional Gyspy Horse as envisioned by the Gypsy culture that developed it over a half-century ago. Please browse our site to find more information on this wonderful breed and learn more about the GHA.
Welcome to the Official Registry of the Gypsy Horse
The Sale helps benefit the GHA and provides stallion owners with valuable advertising and promotional benefits. The proceeds from this annual sale allow GHA to provide a presence at the Equine Affaires, and sponsorship monies for show classes at future shows. At the same time it is an opportunity for a stallion owner to increase their breeding network both in the current breeding year and the future.
2016 Stallion Service Sale Opens Sunday March 6th, 2016 at 12 noon EST.
Membership with GHA
If you are interested in getting some of the benefits of a GHA membership without a big commitment, we have memberships that start at the Associate level. If you are interested in becoming more involved, you can step up to the General level, or Family level, or you can make an even bigger commitment and become a Lifetime member. All of our memberships include reduced registration fees, discounts on DNA Testing and free breeding and sales ads on our website. In addition, annual memberships last a full 12 months, unlike some associations. We even have Youth memberships for younger Gypsy enthusiasts! Visit the Membership link to read more about GHA membership benefits and see how you can join today.
Many of our members choose to be listed on the GHA site. Membership includes a free listing for all active members and space for photos and logos for our member farms. Please visit our Members Page to meet the many members of GHA - many of them are willing to share their knowledge and love of the breed.
Registration with GHA
We take the task of keeping accurate records very seriously and are working to provide our members with the best Registration, Pedigree and DNA collection available. There are many options available for Gypsies, Crosses and Drum Horses, both for new registrations and transfers. Please visit the GHA Registration pages for more information about registering your horse.
